Partin Triangle Park is home to Osceola County’s newest dog park, a fun spot for dogs and owners alike. Tucked into St. Cloud’s Partin Triangle Park, the one-acre dog park features two fenced-in areas, one for small dogs and one for larger pups over thirty pounds.
Archie and I took a trip to the dog park one morning last week. I was impressed by the heavy double gate that ensures dogs don’t get out without their owner. Once inside, Archie went to work sniffing all every inch of the park. There is a long run for dogs that want to let loose and automatically draining drinking fountains at pup level so that they can stay cool and refreshed.
Owners can relax on benches or picnic tables under a heavy canopy of shady trees. A pet waste station helps keep the park clean, but owners must pick up after their pooches. Dogs must be leashed upon entering and exiting the area and must have current licenses and tags.
The dog park is lovingly maintained by the Osceola County Parks Department and is open daily from sunrise to sunset. If you’re traveling with your furry friend, this is the perfect spot to let him run and play with other like-sized dogs. Archie had a great time and slept during the trip home. We’ll be planning a return trip soon.
