• It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas at Magic Kingdom

The chill has arrived in the air here in Florida. It made for a perfect day at Magic Kingdom. I have to agree this was an awesome time to take in the parks. We were not having to down bottles of water because of heat exhaustion. It was cool enough in the mornings and evenings for a light jacket, but the daytime was just perfect for a short sleeve or light long sleeve tee.

As we entered the magical park, we were greeted with all things Christmas. There was an outline of Mickey’s face illustrated with red poinsetta plants.

Then as we went a bit further into the park, a beautiful, tall, elegant decorated Christmas tree was right before our eyes. Santa was right there to greet the kids and make the day even more magical. It also helped the kids to know he is still watching them to see if they make the good or bad list ;) .

The girls eyes immediately lit up as we were looking straight on to the Cinderella Castle. I told my youngest daughter “Look at how beautiful the Christmas tree is.” She said “No, mommy look how beautiful the castle is!”

They were having so many wonderful shows throughout the park and I just loved the Christmas spin they put on the shows.

Rides were definitely a big hit and you don’t have to worry about ages here at the park. There are rides for everyone that wants to have fun :) .

There were three parades in the park today. The first one was the Holiday Magic Christmas Parade. All things Disney were involved in the Parade. Several dancers were also included to make the parade even more magical.

The second parade was the Street Parade to get everyone out in the Streets dancing. My girls wanted us all to be involved in the Conga Line so… we were all out there dancing our little hearts out.

The third parade was the Spectra Magic Parade. It was completely dark during this parade and all the floats were lighted as were all the people in the parade. This was one of the big highlights of the day as the Castle would turn colors from purple, red/green, orange and then with ice cicles all over. It was just breathtaking and we wanted to just sit there all night.

During the fireworks holiday display, snow fell all around us. So magical and my oldest daughter and I were singing as loud as we could with the Holiday Songs they were playing. The fireworks display was amazing as they would use red and green and then Tinkerbell came flying right towards us from the sky. My daughter’s were screaming with delight!

Overall, it was a magical time for us all. If you are not in the Christmas spirit, then definitely head over and do a day at Magic Kingdom. You will be filled with all kinds of Christmas spirit :)

We were also at the Magic Kingdom yesterday as we celebrated my daughter’s birthday. We watched the afternoon parade from Frontierland. The decorations and holiday parade and shows really helped put everyone in the Christmas spirit.
