I’m moving in this week to i.seeKissimmee! Aren’t you lucky?
I’m Angie (obviously), I’m a native Floridian (a rarity), and I’ve lived in Central Florida since 1996 (I think that makes 14 years). UCF called to me from the panhandle, and I came running to a degree in Hospitality Management. My first job in Orlando was working for the Mouse, and for 2 years (one summer in the College Program), I called Disney World my 2nd home. Working in the tourism industry is rewarding, yet stressful, and the pay stinks. (What? I’m being honest here.) After flitting from job-to-job for a year or so, I went back to school to UCF and earned my Master’s in Elementary Education. (Go me!) My girls were born during the four years I taught school, and considering the teacher’s pay scale is only slightly above the cost of daycare for 2 babies, I’ve been a work-at-home mom since 2006. Over the past 4 years I’ve developed an online store, a blog, and I’ve written for several cooperative blogs.
My girls, husband, and I spend many of our weekends during the non-heat-index-of-110º months at or around Disney World. With all of my experience of the Central Florida area in and around Kissimmee, I’m here to be a mini-guide for you and your visit here.
We will be staying in the Kissimmee area for several days, visiting area restaurants, bakeries (yum), attractions, and finding fun things to do with kids.
See you this week!

Can’t wait to hear about your visit! My family is planning a trip to Kissimmee, and I’d love ro hear your suggestions!
