My family loves a good dinner show but to be honest it’s really hard to find a quality (and family friendly show) that also has great tasting food. Fortunately for us Pirate’s Dinner Adventure has both! Voted the best dinner show in Central Florida, Pirate’s Dinner Adventure has something for everyone.
The current show is The Curse of Poseidon’s Treasure and it’s action packed, but also funny and as with most shows of it’s kind, offers up plenty of chances for the audience to become stars of the show. My children loved boarding the ship for the “pirates oath” scene, and I was one proud mommy! While I did see babies in the audience, there are quite a few loud gun shots and cannon blasts, so you may want to bring ear plugs along for little ones. My youngest daughter is 22 months old and she did get scared to begin with but still had a blast.a The show takes place on an elaborate set complete with pirate ships and a 300,000 gallon indoor lagoon. My children loved the live-action pirate fights and seeing the pirates swinging from place to place, but my favorite part was the gypsy. She was beautiful and extremely talented. She danced and did a routine in the air with the green pirate that was mesmerizing.
The food was delicious, and the servers were wonderful. Our server decorated the kids dessert plates with chocolate butterflies, smiley faces, and Minnie Mouse, and they loved it. You get large servings of food so you don’t have to worry about leaving hungry. Each person gets a soup or salad, chicken and pork, rice and potatoes, and a dessert. You can also upgrade to a Lobster Tail or Filet Minion plate (which my husband got and loved) for around $18.
