I am so excited about the next week and the opportunity to be blogging about my “staycation” adventures around Kissimmee! I was born and raised in Kissimmee and have always loved growing up with Mickey in my backyard. I am the stay at home mom of two little boys and we are expecting our third child in July 2012.
My family is what some would call “theme park fanatics” because we simply cannot get enough of the theme parks but we decided to venture out and away from the parks this week to explore what else the great city of Kissimmee has to offer! We have done very little local things outside of the parks that my husband doesn’t even know what Kissimmee has to offer and I’m excited to show him. I’ve been planning and researching ideas for our little staycation, things that will be a ton of fun while easy on the wallet.
Only in Florida can it be the end of December and still 80 degrees out! Over the course of the next week, we plan on taking advantage of the beautiful weather and will be soaking up the sun at a local water park, going on an airboat ride, mini golfing and so much more! I am also a huge foodie so we will be scooping out some local joints to find the best eats around! We are all in need of a little time off from life so I’m hoping this staycation will leave us refreshed and with a lot of lasting memories.
