Over this past week, we’ve had so much fun and created so many lasting memories. We discovered there is a lot more to Kissimmee than just the theme parks and found some great local places that we will definitely be frequenting. Between a super fun, lesser known waterpark, gator feeding, and all of the great eats that excited the foodie in me, it was a very successful staycation! After each activity, Adam would say “when can we do THAT again?!” and I would call that a vacation WIN!
It was so nice to find so much to do, so close to home. Living in Kissimmee definitely has it’s perks, there is always something to do and somewhere to go. Staying away from the theme parks was a lot easier than I expected, just because I didn’t even know all of what Kissimmee had to offer.
Now, sadly, it’s back to reality. Back to work, back to schedules, but to real life! The beauty of our staycation is that everything we did was family and budget friendly, and we can do each activity when we have a few hours to spare! We can’t wait to go back mini golfing and I’ve been craving a steak ever since we left Old Hickory Steakhouse (thank you, pregnancy). We couldn’t have asked for better weather in December, it was too perfect for vacationing!
