Central Florida Native Living In…Central Florida!

Hi there!

My name is Stephanie (Steph) Varner, and I am one of those rare Florida natives that actually still lives here in Central Florida. I’m originally from Daytona Beach and moved to Orlando in 2003.

The Orlando area is near and dear to my heart because I love most everything DISNEY. The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World holds so many fond memories of my Dad, and I am incredibly lucky to spend almost all of my spare time in a Disney area. I’m not kidding – I’ve been on 8 Disney Cruises and am in the theme parks nearly every weekend.

I’ve been married for 6 years now to my husband, Paul, who has lived in Florida for a little over 30 years. I have 2 crazy children – Madison, who is 10 and Zachary, who is 3. And how could I possibly forget our jerk cat, Jack (the sweet but loveable kitty who likes to puke on everything, or cover you head to toe in cat hair). Together our family creates the blog, The Adventures of Goober Grape and Monkey Man.

Paul and I also work full time – blogging is just something fun on the side! I work in the financial world in Downtown Orlando while my husband works as the “everything guy” at Coliseum of Comics, Central Florida’s largest comic chain.

I’m so excited to show you some of the things that we love in this area (and not JUST Disney, I promise) – so, follow along! We’d love for you to travel with us.
