When the lovely people of Kissimmee sent me recommendations for places to stay, there was a name that stood out among the rest. Maybe it was the Italian name, but there’s something about seeing “Tuscana” that made me think paradise.

Our kids love Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom, but Epcot is a parent’s dream. It’s usually less crowded, so there’s more room to meander around, the rides are much closer together, so there’s less walking, and the World Showcase is an awesome time for shopping, drinking, and eating.
Disney World is one of those places that reminds that you’re never quite “grown up” all the way and that sometimes, it’s fun to embrace it. After a great day at SeaWorld, we decided to dive headfirst into the Disney Experience, starting with the Magic Kingdom.
As a family of ocean and wildlife lovers, we’ve always loved SeaWorld because of its exotic motif and the chance to see a wonderful collection of ocean-based wildlife. I mean, where else can you watch 50-100 penguins hang out, pretending to be statues, pet a stingray, or hang out with dolphins and sharks?
Just two days ago, I was signing out of Fort Bragg for the final time, as I officially left active duty and entered civilian life. I was an Army Paratrooper for around 3 years, and when I returned from Afghanistan in 2009, I told my wife that when I was through with my service, we’d finally do what we promised each other years before, which was that we’d move to Florida.
